The Cyprus Anti-Drugs Counci, proudly presents the official iPhone application for journalists, media representatives, health sector workers, policy makers and politicians and everyone wanting to find out more about how stigma can be avoided, when using language or image to refer to drug dependence.

This helpful tool is a feature-rich app with five major functional tabs:

A dictionary based on the official World Health Organization dictionary of dependence related terms assists app users in identifying appropriate, non –stigmatizing terms to replace commonly used language. Examples of images from art help app users realize alternative ways to “picture” dependence.

The map utility easily guides people to their nearest treatment facility /center.

Comments for articles / latest news engage people and encourage active participation in raising awareness and advocacy.

The app downloads and syncs the latest news directly to your device for online or offline reading.
